Education: Completion of Degree/Diploma in electrical or training program (apprenticeship or trade school) is typically required.
Certification: A C License issued by the relevant local or state authority.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial electrical work.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical systems, wiring, circuitry, and electrical codes.
Skills: Proficient in the use of electrical tools, including multimeters, wire strippers, and drills. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Job Description:
* Install and ensure electrical wiring, outlets, switches, panels, and lighting fixtures in new or existing buildings.
* Diagnose and repair faulty electrical wiring, circuit breakers, and other components.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify causes of electrical malfunctions
* Upgrade or replace old electrical systems and components to improve performance, meet code updates, or comply with building renovation projects.
* Communicate with customers to assess electrical needs and provide estimates for new installations or repairs
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects
