Urgent openings for : Welder
Responsibilities
Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to
perform the task at hand
Perform MIG, Gas Weld, home furniture weld and other types of weld based on project needs
Field install welds, including ducts, piping, and other metal parts
Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
Follow, create, and help maintain Welding Procedure Specifications
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment
Understand and implement personal and company safety measures by wearing specialized goggles,
helmets, and gloves
Communicate with team members and collaborate to ensure efficient work and tight deadlines are
met
Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure equipment and tools are stored properly
Requirements
A diploma in a relevant field preferred
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a commercial welding position
Current and valid welding certification is highly regarded
Proficiency with hand tools and manual dexterity
Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
