Production Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our PET Recycling Manufacturing Unit in Perundurai Erode. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the recycling facility, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production workers.

Responsibilities:

Supervise Production Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the PET recycling manufacturing unit, ensuring smooth production flow, adherence to production schedules, and timely completion of tasks.
Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of PET recycling processes, including sorting, cleaning, and processing of PET materials, to maintain high-quality output that meets industry standards.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure optimal productivity and a positive work environment.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all production activities adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines, promoting a safe and secure working environment for all employees.
Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment used in the PET recycling process.
Inventory Management: Monitor raw material inventory levels and work with purchase team and plant head to ensure timely availability of materials needed for production.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing measures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, prepare reports on production performance, and communicate production updates to management.
Training and Development: Provide training to new hires and existing team members on best practices, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in meetings and discussions related to process improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and solutions to enhance overall productivity.
Qualifications and Skills:

Degree Freshers or ITI Mechanical Preferred
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse production team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to address production challenges and implement process improvements.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members, and management
